2017 was the year VimpelCom transformed into VEON, building upon its leadership as one of the world’s largest mobile operator to a global tech company. As a multinational telecommunications company operating within 13 markets across Asia, Africa and Europe, and servicing over 235 millions customers, the new brand unfolded under the guidance of brand guru Peter Arnell, reaching for its potential of touching 10% of the world’s population.

Implementation of multi-market digital VEON experiences and support of internal culture transformation programs led to a successful brand awakening and drove the brand and mobile app launches in key markets such as Italy, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine and Pakistan.
